JC, a small, elite team dedicated to building communication strategies, introduced an internship program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. By collaborating with promising students, we’ve created “THE NewZ,” a platform reporting on healthcare systems from an international perspective, aiming to create a vibrant company where ideas flow freely.
Interns come from diverse universities, faculties, and backgrounds, but they leverage their individual strengths and areas of expertise, support one another in areas where they need assistance, as they tackle their daily tasks.
Their work encompasses a wide range of activities, including monitoring and disseminating the latest trends in the medical field (especially in the area of rare diseases), creating press releases and providing public relations support for medical clients, arranging seminar venues, preparing materials, and supporting on-site operations, editing YouTube videos, recruiting new interns, and creating reports comparing healthcare systems in Japan and overseas.
In particular, event management involves consistent involvement from the preparation stage to the actual event, including meetings with clients and stakeholders, participant recruitment, and venue arrangements. This is one of the most rewarding aspects of the job, as it allows interns to see the results of their hard work and preparation firsthand.
Below, we introduce each of our interns (along with their portraits). We hope you will take a look and feel a sense of familiarity with the students who are active in JC.
